As a Bio Process Technician, you'll be part of a dynamic shift team, driving production with precision and innovation. Your role will encompass utilizing MCS automation, managing SAP materials, and ensuring continuous improvement in our processes and environment. Are you ready to make a difference?
Accountabilities:
As a Bio Process Technician, you'll be trained to independently perform core production tasks across cell culture, media preparation, purification, buffer preparation, and equipment preparation. You'll become a subject matter expert, championing technical leadership and driving excellence within your shift team. Your responsibilities will include executing tasks in a cGMP environment with meticulous attention to detail, maintaining safety and compliance, troubleshooting operational issues, and contributing to investigations through the QTS system. You'll also play a role in training colleagues, creating SOPs, and embracing continuous improvement initiatives using lean tools. Flexibility is key, as you'll work a 24/7 shift pattern with rotations between day and night shifts.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Must be able to work within and adapt to complex electronic systems such as process automation, SAP, and Trackwise investigation system.
- Must have in-depth knowledge of biotech manufacturing processes and their translation into documentation such as batch records and SOPs.
- Must be familiar with biopharmaceutical equipment and systems such as bioreactors, glass washers, media/buffer systems, and purification systems.
- Knowledgeable of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and regulatory requirements.
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- BA/BS in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience preferred.
