Associate Director, RDU IT - XR and Hyperautomation Platforms
We seek a dynamic individual who can manage the day-to-day delivery of XR and Hyperautomation projects across various business units and therapeutic areas. While expertise in these areas is beneficial, the ability and willingness to learn quickly is more important. In this ever-evolving role, adaptability and a passion for technology are key as the role can shift fluidly over time.
Accountabilities:
Lead the delivery and operational management of XR and hyperautomation initiatives, ensuring they align with business objectives and adhere to ethical guidelines.
Oversee the transition of projects from concept to production, managing the full lifecycle to optimize business outcomes.
Collaborate with various stakeholders, influencing across functional lines without direct authority, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
Establish and maintain governance standards to ensure projects are delivered within agreed cost, time, and quality parameters.
Promote the use of low-code solutions and digital health technologies to streamline business processes.
Foster a community of practice that encourages the sharing of best practices, learning, and adaptability in using emerging technologies.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, business administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in delivery management or IT project delivery, demonstrating strong project management skills and experience in agile methodologies.
Proven ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly, with a focus on delivery and operational excellence.
Comfortable operating in a matrix environment, with the ability to influence and lead change without direct authority.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with an ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a related field, with familiarity with the regulatory landscape.
Experience operating in a matrix environment, with a proven ability to drive cross-functional team success.
Demonstrated potential for growth with a flexible mindset and innovative approach to problem-solving.
