Brief Job Profile Description

The Global Marketing Partner, Hematology focus on contribute to the execution of strategic marketing initiatives that support the continued growth of Ultomiris in PNH and HSCT-TMA launches to deliver transformational benefits to patients worldwide.  

You are accountable for execution of global marketing strategy, cross-functional collaboration, launch readiness, and global rare disease leadership. The Hematology team is highly collaborative, creative, and ambitious - pioneering new initiatives to drive Ultomiris growth and improve patient outcomes.  

Support marketing plan execution, create promotional materials, and track brand performance. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners while ensuring budget alignment and regulatory compliance. 

Typical Accountabilities

  • Success in this role will require a strong capacity to think creatively, see the bigger picture, and challenge conventional approaches to drive innovation. 

  • Executing key global tactics aligned with strategic imperatives, such as PNH Connect webinars, tailored patient narratives, and digital content to support earlier diagnosis and treatment, differentiation of Ultomiris, and optimal treatment duration. 

  • Leading the global rollout of a new global differentiation campaign. 

  • Coordinating Global X-Functional Meetings (GXM) and "Meet the TA Experts" sessions to ensure alignment with global strategy, effective rollout of tools, and best practice sharing. 

  • Generating insights to inform global strategy and messaging. 

  • Leading the implementation of the PNH – HSCT-TMA Playbook - a modular enablement platform providing strategic guidance and best practices for local cross-functional teams to ensure consistent, high-quality execution across market archetypes 

  • Supporting a subset of markets launching in 2026 onwards. Managing project timelines and budgets. 

  • Contribute to the development and execution of campaigns or marketing plans, including the creation and refinement of distribution channel solutions, sales strategies, and promotional activities for assigned therapeutic areas or brands. 

  • Create, review, and improve marketing and promotional materials based on research and business needs. 

  • Track brand, product, and competitor performance and trends, providing actionable recommendations that inform both day-to-day decisions and long-term strategic direction. 

  • Develop materials for the sales force to support effective sales effort and educate sales representatives on company and competitor products. 

  • Coordinate and deliver project work, special studies, and initiatives within own specialist area, meeting quality standards, ensuring brand consistency and regulatory compliance, and handling risks. 

  • Build and maintain strong and productive working relationships and effective liaison with internal colleagues and external stakeholders—including agencies, organizer, consultant, supplier and partner organizations—to support the achievement of functional and business goals. 

  • Contribute to budget planning, resource allocation, and the ongoing tracking of expenditure related to promotional initiatives, supporting transparency and efficiency in line with business priorities and risk controls. 

Qualifications and Skills

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or life sciences; Experience in one or a combination of pharmaceutical or biotech industry in roles encompassing strategic pre-launch planning and launch, with global/regional/local experience and thorough understanding of the diverse requirements of Global markets   

  • Profound understanding of drug development and commercialization in rare disease  

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across matrix teams and achieve goals by delivering through others 

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and strategic mindset including innovation and critical thinking with performance-oriented drive. 

Desirable

  • An advanced degree (MBA, MSc or PhD). Marketing experience with demonstrated success across various stages of the brand lifecycle, including pre-launch planning, launch execution, and long-term business planning. Proficiency with data analytics tools. 

  • Proven experience and knowledge of a broad base of external partners and customers including patients, prescribers, payors, providers and in/out license partners.
