Global Launch Project Manager
Job Description Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to manage the launch of future hem/neph pipeline. We are anticipating Phase 3 readouts for 3 on-going trials for Ultomiris in 2025 & 2026, and the successful candidate willbe responsible for supporting the team in ensuring launch execution.
Core Responsibilities
As a key member of the launch teams, with an initial focus on HSCT TMA, your role will be to ensure successful launches, via:
Timeline Management: Support Global Value Access & Pricing & Global Marketing with integrated product launch timeline, incorporating inputs from markets, global regulatory, global market access, and supply and ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.
Launch Readiness: Organize and schedule Launch Readiness Reviews (LRRs) to facilitate effective preparation and execution of product launches.Input and maintainaccurate data in planning tools and systems, ensuring information is current and accessible.
Supply Coordination: Collaborate with the supply chain team to coordinate logistics and inventory for product launches, ensuring timely availability of products, both for commercial & free-drug programs.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with global & local stakeholders in R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Supply, Market Access, and Commercial to ensure alignment and integration.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
Your role demands strategic thinking, operational excellence, and strong collaborative skills across global & country functions, ensuring successful launch outcomes. The position involves up to 15% business travel internationally and office presence minimum 3 days a week aligned with AZ policies.
You will need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or business area.
Excellent English communication both written and spoken
Minimum of 5 years of industry experience across sales, marketing, consulting, or project management.
Proven track record of driving multi-disciplinary initiatives.
Track record of product launches.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of the rare Hematology and TMA conditions
Excellent strategic thinking and operational execution capability
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a cross-functional, highly collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
Customer focused, displayed by the ability to engage actively with the diverse needs of internal stakeholders, adaptable and flexible approach to meeting business needs
Naturally connects and builds strong relationships with others, demonstrating emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively
