This role is pivotal in driving planning, forecasting, and management of OpEx/CapEx, ensuring cost transparency and value realization. Collaborate with Technology, Procurement, and Finance to make disciplined decisions while leveraging tools like SAP, Coupa, and ServiceNow. Accountabilities
Procure-to-Pay Oversight: Govern PR/PO and CapEx requisitions, GR/IR, accruals, reclasses, Internal Orders, and vendor spend hygiene; enforce SOPs aligned to Procurement and IT standards.
Tooling & Data Enablement: Drive effective SAP and Coupa use for PR/PO and CapEx workflows; steward integrations with ServiceNow and BI; build and scale reusable reporting assets.
Collaborator & Vendor Management: Partner with senior leaders, PMOs, and vendors; provide decision quality insights; support contracts and SOWs to align with budgets and forecasts.
Team Leadership: Coach analysts and managers; set operating cadence; embed quality, timeliness, and compliance across financial processes.
Month End Close: Oversee reviews of financials; monitor actuals vs. budget; manage accruals and forecast updates.
Reporting & Analytics: Maintain accurate, timely CapEx dashboards, Finance Portfolio Tracker, and analyses; advance predictive reporting and trend insights.
Operational Efficiency: Manage travel performance and overall productivity to support business objectives.
Workforce & Vendor Governance: Govern outside service providers and contingent workers for compliance and effectiveness; review pending contracts/SOWs for financial fit.
Essential Skills/Experience
Financial & Operational Leadership: Proven success driving financial and operational management outcomes
IT Finance Experience: 5–7 years overseeing IT financial management (budgeting, forecasting, chargeback/showback, variance analysis)
Partner Influence & Communication: Persuasive collaborator who turns technical input into clear business insights and drives teams to meet financial/reporting targets.
Performance Management: Proficient with performance measurement tools and techniques; applies industry best practices and internal methodologies
Desirable Skills/Experience
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree, MBA a plus, or equivalent professional experience
Execution Excellence: Meticulous attention to detail; delivers independently and in partnership with IT leads in fast-paced, challenging settings
Technical Proficiency: Intermediate skills with Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), ServiceNow, Project Portfolio Management tools, and reporting/visualization (Power BI); comfortable querying and shaping data for analysis
Facilitation & Discovery: Skilled at facilitating working sessions with IT leads, clarifying requirements, and driving structured information gathering across stakeholders
Decision Quality & Delivery: Proactive, analytical problem-solver who resolves complex IT issues and drives multiple workstreams to completion.
