The Director, RDU IT – Business Partner, Global Supply Chain provides strategic technology, data, and leadership and serves as the primary interface between Global Supply Chain and IT. The role defines and executes the Digital, Data, and AI strategy to deliver measurable business value, resilience, and scalable global execution.

You willbe responsible for:

Strategic Business Partnership & AI Vision

  • Act as the trusted IT, Data, and AI partner to Global Supply Chain leadership, aligning digital strategy to operational, financial, and patientcentric outcomes.

  • Define and lead the Supply ChainDigitalvision, ensuring businessled, valuedriven use cases aligned with enterprise governance.

  • Build strong executive partnerships acrossthe GlobalSupply Chainand ITLeadershipto drive shared accountability forbusiness Digitaloutcomes.

  • Identifyand advance AI, analytics, and automation opportunities to improve service, cost, resilience, compliance, and decision quality.

  • Influence enterprise technology and data strategy through deepexpertisein supply chain processes, data domains, and system integration.

Digital, Data & AI Supply Chain Strategy

  • Own the multiyear Digital, Dataroadmap for Global Supply Chain across IBP, manufacturing,logistics, and quality.

  • Establish the data foundation (architecture, integration, analytics) to enable scalableTechnology solutionsand insights.

  • Prioritise AI use cases by value and readiness, progressing from analytics to autonomous decision support, aligned with process and data standards

  • Lead endtoend delivery of digital, data initiatives from ideation and funding through deployment, adoption, and value realisation.

  • Implement AI/ML, decision intelligence, and automation to improve forecasting, scenario planning, exception management, and execution performance.

Technology, Data & Vendor Leadership

  • Shape the Supply Chain data and analytics ecosystem, ensuring alignment with enterprise platforms, cloud strategy, and AI tooling.

  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with technology vendors, data platform providers, and system integrators, ensuring delivery quality and value.

  • Drive optimisation and increased adoption ofaplatforms/productsacross Global Supply Chain to scale Technology.

People & Leadership

  • Provide leadership and direction to Supply Chain IT, data, and digital teams within the broader IT Operations organisation.

  • Build strong alignment across business, IT, and data communities, fostering shared accountability for outcomes and value realisation.

  • Coach and mentor senior leaders indatadrivenandAIenabledways of working, strengthening capability maturity across the organisation.

  • Ensure adherence to company standards for quality, compliance, security, data governance, and responsible AI use.

Experience & Capability Profile

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Data, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field; Master’s or MBA preferred. 

  • 10+ years of senior IT, data, and digital leadership experience within complex,endtoendsupply chain environments. 

  • Proventrack recordbuilding data and master data foundations, delivering AIandanalyticsenabledinitiatives onSupply Chainplatforms with measurable business outcomes. 

  • Strong commercial acumen, executive communication skills, and ability to lead decisively in ambiguous,fastchangingenvironments.

Preferred

  • Leadership of enterprisescale digital, data, and transformation programs with handson operational delivery experience.

  • Strong seniorlevel stakeholder management across global, virtual, and multicultural environments.

  • Passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and responsible AI adoption, with flexibility for international engagement.
