What you’ll do
As an Associate Medical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in launches and ongoing medical excellence for our neurology portfolio. This position is perfect for a strategically-minded medical affairs professional with a strong scientific background and excellent project management capabilities, eager to drive compliant scientific exchange.
You'll play a key role in supporting launches and future pipeline products by coordinating medical events, helping with long-term planning, and working with multiple departments to carry out medical strategy.
Key responsibilities:
Support planning and delivery of the neurology medical launch plan and preparation of market for pipeline therapies.
Coordinate medical education meetings, working cross functionally to manage compliant logistics and speaker engagement.
Assist in the development and localisation of slide decks, FAQs, and training materials for field teams.
Track milestones, documentation and actions across cross functional launch meetings.
Support review of promotional and non promotional materials using approved systems and processes.
Uphold compliance, governance and documentation standards in all medical activities.
Maintain project trackers, budgets and vendor processes to enable timely delivery.
Prepare concise reports on medical activities, insights and performance for leadership.
Essential for the role:
Degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine or a related discipline.
1–3 years in Medical Affairs or medical operations within pharmaceuticals, including familiarity with the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct.
Ability to interpret clinical data and translate evidence into clear insights.
Strong organisation and/or project management skills with attention to detail and follow through.
Clear written and verbal communication with stakeholder relationship skills.
Proactive approach to problem solving and delivery in evolving environments.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Experience in neurology, immunology, or other specialty therapeutic areas.
Exposure to launch or pre-launch medical activities in Australia.
Experience reviewing materials in systems such as Veeva.
