What you’ll do
We are currently looking for a Senior / Medical Science Liaison to join our Medical Affairs team. Based from Sydney you will be responsible for multiple states. You'll play a crucial role in channeling Alexion’s scientific leadership in rare diseases with the goal to build and create a positive impact on enhancing patients' lives.
The Senior / Medical Science Liaison, will provide actionable information to key clinicians that enhances the value and appropriate use of Alexion’s products, respond to customer inquiries to ensure focused and balanced clinical and scientific information that supports the appropriate use of Alexion’s products and services and develop appropriate clinical and scientific information that clinically differentiates Alexion’s products.
Essential for the role:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline
Previous Medical Affairs experience, at MSL or Snr MSL level
Demonstrated successes in building strong external and internal relationships
Demonstrated expertise in discussing scientific content and context
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills and demonstrated project/team/cross-functional leadership
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills and ability to self-manage
Ability and willingness to travel
Completed Medicines Australia Code of Conduct training (up to date with Edition 19)
Desirable for the role:
Master’s degree/PhD
Experience in product launch or strategy development and execution
Rare disease experience
