Job Title: Lab Solutions Associate

Introduction to role:

Are you ready to make a difference in the world of R&D? As a Lab Solutions Associate, you'll be at the forefront of supporting scientific applications and systems, ensuring that our researchers can work efficiently and effectively. You'll provide first-line support on-site from Monday to Friday, tackling issues in person, via phone, and email. Collaborate with project teams to implement IT laboratory solutions that align with business needs and serve as a vital link between R&D and Enterprise IT. Your role will involve fixing laboratory computer problems, maintaining permissions, and interfacing devices to export data to external tools. Are you up for the challenge?

Accountabilities:

Your mission is to ensure validated laboratory systems are up-to-date and follows company policies. Establish governance processes that adhere to GxP and regulatory guidelines, and contribute to drafting new procedures. Build positive relationships with the Enterprise IT organization and engage with end users to deliver support solutions that meet their needs. Team up with peers and leaders to drive project performance, manage risks, and consistently deliver excellent results.

Essential Skills/Experience:

-Bachelor's Degree

-Minimum 4+ years of experience

- Working knowledge of computerized systems architecture including network infrastructure, hardware and software support, applications development, and database technologies
- Experience with relevant regulatory requirements preferred
- Ability to implement high quality IS solutions, working across the full life cycle, from requirements to roll-out to day-day support
- Working knowledge of a broad range of laboratory IS systems, including HPLCs, bioreactors, plate readers, LIMS systems, and primary data acquisition systems is preferred
- Strong computer skills with the demonstrated ability to understand a variety of development concepts and applications

Desirable Skills/Experience:

-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent
-Experience with software/systems development life cycle and familiarity with lab instrumentation/processes preferred
