【Alexion Japan】Senior Manager, Commercial Data Architecture Lead, Strategic Business Intelligence & Data Management
This is what you will do:
CommercialData Architecture Lead, Strategic Business Intelligence & Data Management will be responsible for developing/establishing and managing diverse data systemswhich enhance business capabilities to maximize working productivity in Alexion Japan (APJ). This individual is expected to develop new data platforms based on deep insights through gathering key stakeholders' needs, and also manage whole operating processes for handling master and transaction data.In addition, this person will improve the effectives in sales & marketing by establishing consistent, stable but flexible data models and smart reporting systems in alignment with both short-term and mid/long-term objectives, andultimately will contribute to achieve APJ ambitious target that Alexion becomes No.1 company in rare disease business.
You will be responsible for:
Organizing internal and external data for each brand franchise to enhance business capabilities on PDCA cycle across Business Units.
Managing a variety of data systems both reporting database and master database.
Establishing integrated management processes and systems for internal master data and/or APJ specific operation/data models.
Developing, operating and enhancing the “実消化実績-daily sales data in pharma –“ data system gathering from multiple wholesalers and manage its processes between APJ and AstraZeneca (AZKK).
Developing and enhancing the Data Warehouse (DWH) for APJ.
Serving as a hub between commercial team and IT team.
Acting as an expert for internal stakeholders by providing insights on BI tools.
You will need to have:
A bachelor’s degree.
> 10 years experience working at data management department in sales & marketing in pharmaceutical(s) in Japan.
> 5 years experience to manage Medical Data Base(MDB) fromUltmarc.
Expertise in handling mandatory master data in pharma (HCP, HCO and sales data from wholesalers/JD-Net).
Experience integrating newapplications and programs on data service areas.
Exceptional business aptitude, strategic thinking and creative abilities.
Behaviors and mind-set as a strong communicator and negotiator, able to generate reasonable solutions that ultimately close the win-win results with stakeholders.
Capablityto prioritize multiple projects/tasksfollowing the deadlines.
Business PC skills. (Microsoft Excel, Access, BI tool)
Business level in English.
Attitude as an excellent team player.
We would prefer for you to have:
Experience to handle IMS/Encise and/or Veeva CRM data.
Experience to negotiate with external data provider(s) in terms of data structure, operating scheme and so on
Experience to manage sales data operations especially gathering-integrating data provided from multi wholesalers including conversion master management
Experience to lead cross functional projects/taskforces
